The one where the 20 month post is REALLY late...

Griffin is in to asking “Where’s?” only is sounds like “Es?”  He switches the order around as says, “Dadda?  Es?”  He sounds like a little Spanish baby.

Griffin continues to refine his performance of dramatic falls.  He falls in the gym at church, in Target, at home....It’s quite funny and people get a kick out of it.

Griffin was in a wedding and people have been drooling over this picture.  He was an honorary ring bearer for my cousin, Jessica’s, wedding in Nacogdoches.

Griffin loves to do chores at Yogi and BooBoo’s house.  He feeds Dixie and the cats, picks strawberries and blackberries, and gets eggs.  He is quite the helper!

Speaking of helping, when Griffin says help, it sounds like, “UP.”  Up also sounds like “up.”  This can be confusing. :)  Griffin says up for down, too.  He’s really trying to mix us “up.”  (So punny.)

Griffin still loves all things trains and cars.  Loves books.  Loves to “dot dot” which really includes pens, markers, crayons, etc.

Griffin identifies Bibles and “pats” them. :)

Griffin still doesn’t eat a whole lot, but he does still eat veggies.  It’s so cute and makes me feel like I”m doing something right - even though I’m not doing anything.

Griffin can name all of the wellsbrothers and Aunt RaRa really well!

Griffin did his first round of swimming lessons this month...kind of.  He ended up with some diaper issues (wink wink) that didn’t let him finish, but he does like the water.  He now kicks, splashes (even bigger), and blows bubbles in the bathtub all the time.

Enjoy the pics!

Peas are a great TV snack!

Ready to go to the zoo!

I was so excited to take Griffin on the train at the zoo and this is how he felt about it.  Geez.

Wheeeeeee!  With the Wellsbrothers

My sweet baby with his long hair....

So....We started playing with bandaids and stickers. :)

Right before we buzzed his hair.

Right after.  I'm TOTALLY letting it grow out again.

more trains

Griffin and his Yogi.

Griffin, sweet baby, you continue to bring us to our knees with gratitude to our Father in heaven.  You are more than we could have ever asked for and a miracle beyond belief.  You are beginning to have quite an opinion and are really trying to see who's boss around here.  We love you for this and, I promise, we pray for guidance on how to guide you and your, um, passion.  ;)  We love you, Griffin Wayne, and can't wait to see what's next!!

Griffin the Ring Bearer - well, honorary :)

My cousin, Jessica, on my dad's side got married on June 9th.  She asked Griffin to be an honorary ring bearer.  Micah was the real ring bearer and Bonnie was an honorary flower girl.  So, needless to say, we were ALL headed to Nacogdoches for the weekend.  Thank you Mom and Dad for hotel rooms!

Griffin and I actually rode down with Mom and Dad because Chris couldn't come.  Griffin was an okay-ish traveler.  He slept about 20 min of a four hour drive.  Awesome. :)

Then, he and Bonnie played and played together when we got there.  It was the sweetest thing that I couldn't bear to break away from it and go get a camera.  I have those squeals of delight treasured in my heart.

We woke up and went swimming with the wellsbrothers and then it was getting ready for the wedding. The story of the wedding follows in about, oh.... 4 million pictures, so brace yourself.  :)  Griffin did okay walking down the aisle, but then he was down and we spent the rest of the wedding hanging out in the church foyer.

Enjoy the pics!

the reception was near a train yard and Griffin was thrilled...

the forgotten phone photos for 19 months

So - I didn't upload my phone pictures to the computer for quite some time and these memories are too good to foget, sooooooooo - here are a few older pictures:

This day cracked me up.  Griffin was delirious tired in the car coming home from church and was just grinning away with his eyes closed.  We were cracking up.

Griffin and daddy doing the shoulders thing that you gotta do at the zoo!

This is at the park in Granbury.  Doesn't he look so old?

Griffin and his 10/10 buddies at the zoo.  Playing on an elephant...

Just had to throw this in.  It's Chris and me at the Gaylord Opryland.

This is a picture of Griffin my mom sent while we were in Nashville...Griffin LOVES to pull and push things.

another one with BooBoo...

Picking flowers/weeds at the park

Griffin was searching for LaLa (Yogi) at our house and he actually found him in this picture!

These two are hard to tell what's going on - but Grffin has been really into doing dramatic falls.  This started  - that we remember - here in this prayer labryrinth on the campus of SMU at Bret's graduation.  He runs around and suddenly plants himself on the ground and then rolls around.  It's quite entertaining to watch. :)
