I've been curious to do this, so here we go.  Do you think the Robey brothers look alike?

Three Months for AsherBear

Whoa - when did this happen!?

three months:

• smiling ALL the time!  It's so easy to get a smile from this sweet baby.  I don't remember Griffin being like this.  I guess this is just the beginning of (probably) their many differences!
• Asher is really starting to look at books and smile at the pictures.  Again - so easy and fun to get a smile from!
• loves to look at griffin and especially hang out by the bathtub while Griffin's playing in the tub
• itsy bitsy spider and pat-a-cake are SO fun - again, especially when Griffin does it
• splashes and kicks during bathtime
• rolled over on jan 15th, 9 and a half weeks old!  It's tummy to back, but he's done it 4 times since then
• I think asher is laughing, and he must have been for a while, he just has a different kind of laugh - it’s gurgly and oh so cute!
• getting a little acne :( Don't really know what to do about it...but he's still perfect!
• the clogged tear duct came back and went away again
• spent the whole day with booboo when mommy had her first day of work on Jan 18, 10 weeks old
• had his first day at daycare and they said he did great!  I'm pretty sure they all fell in love with him
• This kiddo is in size 6 month (a few 3 month stragglers) clothes and size 2 diapers
• I still swaddle him when he sleeps.  It's the sweetest thing.  He may start fussing when he gets sleepy, but then I get out the swaddle blanket and he just smiles and smiles at me.
• He's starting to reach for toys.  Doesn't quite grab them, but is reaching.
• Sticking those fists in his mouth!  both of them!
• LOVES to look at his name on his wall still.  Brings him a smile every time.
• We did get a bout of RSV this month.  It was yucky, but this guy pulled through!  I definitely lost some sleep with him (more from worry than him fussing), but he's doing well now - just that straggler congestion.
• Had baby blessing this month, too.  Nana and Papa and Yogi and BooBoo were able to come and be a part of it.
• Funny - his favorite song for me to sing - or at least the one that puts him to sleep the best - is Part of Your World from The Little Mermaid....he'll love that story one day!
• Asher really likes to do story time at night with Griffin.  Chris put these really cool rope lights along the top bunk of Griffin's bed and Asher stares at them like they are magical.  He really does a great job listening to the stories most of the time and Griffin loves having Ahser in bed with him.  Sweet Brothers!
• 

This was one of those moments I prayed I will remember how it felt forever.  Love soaking in this little baby.

AsherBear, you've been around long enough that we can't imagine life without you!  Praying for you to grow big and brave and strong and smart and for you to fall in love with Jesus (and call you mom every day!)  I love you soooo much, my sweet baby boy.  I'd sing to you all day.

Asher is two months old!

Sweet AsherBear - you are two months old.  Already!

At two months, here's what we know:
- blue eyes
- your hair started falling out at your hairline and then growing back in
- you started smiling at 6 weeks old and cooing.  you try so hard to laugh, but it just hasn't turned into a real chuckle yet.
- you hold your head WAY up high and can do it for several minutes - while smiling!
- still smile the whole way through baths, but don't like lotion
- you like when daddy plays beat box.  you like to look at griffin.   you know mommy's voice anywhere.
- griffin calls you Asher Rhino because mommy calls you AsherBear
- you wear size 3 month and 6 month clothes, size 2 diapers
- At the two month appointment, you were 13 pounds 9 ounces (73rd percentile), 25 inches long (99th percentile), and 16.5 inch head circumference (98th percentile.)
- you had your first Christmas and have gone on lots of outings: to the zoo, the aquarium, to Griffin's school, to church

AsherBear, we love you so much.  It has been such joy to add you to our lives and we love to make you smile.  It's so sweet to see how much you love Griffin already.  May God bless you and keep you, my sweet baby boy.
